Assalam-o-Alaikum, My name is Munawar Ali Syed and I am doing my solo show

at canvas Gallery after four years and title of the show is “ANKAHI”.

We should discuss things, which we face in our daily life, but we do not.

Like climate change which is effecting on our lives,

Education and debate of knowledge.

What is most important in our lives i.e. Hunger of wisdom Or Stomach hunger.

Most of the work revolve around these elements, I have used new materials

in this show like clear Resin, plastic materials original books and Metal casting.

My most of books are made by seeds, which we use in our daily lives like Lentils

and Rice. This is a comment on that our education is only for our Stomach hunger.

You can see this Buffalo behind me it belongs to our Sub-Continent,

I have used kid’s toys in plastic material, and these are made in china.

In future, we are going to be a Chinese colony and my work is about it that

our animal has transformed into made in China and I am sure that we would

be discussing these issues in future and we should discuss these un told topics.
